Plaza College’s Blood Drive on February 28 exceeded all expectations, with 66 donors contributing 68 pints of blood—surpassing the initial goal of 45 donations. Students, staff, faculty, family, friends, and local community members came together to support this life-saving cause. Nursing student volunteers played a vital role in ensuring a smooth process, assisting with registration, medical history, donations, and post-donation care. Their professionalism and kindness earned high praise from the New York Blood Center staff, who called it one of the most successful drives they’ve attended.

Thanks to this incredible effort, more than 198 lives will be saved. Plaza College extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated—your generosity and teamwork made a true difference!
