On April 7, 2026, Plaza College proudly featured Jazmin Hernandez during its virtual “Steno Stars” event, a special spotlight series celebrating the accomplishments of students, alumni, and industry professionals in the field of court reporting. A 2025 graduate of the School of Court Reporting at Plaza College, Jazmin shared her journey from student to working professional, offering encouragement and insight to aspiring court reporters and members of the Plaza College community attending the online event.
Shortly after graduation, Jazmin was hired directly into the Court Reporter Trainee Program and currently works in the Bronx Family Court. Transitioning seamlessly from the classroom into the professional world, she quickly began building her career within the New York court system. During the virtual event, Jazmin reflected on her experiences as a recent graduate and discussed the dedication, discipline, and confidence required to succeed in the field of court reporting.
As a recent alumna, Jazmin represents the next generation of court reporters entering the workforce prepared to make an immediate impact. Her success story serves as an inspiration for current students pursuing careers in court reporting and highlights the strength of the training and support provided by Plaza College’s School of Court Reporting.
