On Friday, June 28th, the Plaza College community celebrated the Class of 2024 at the 107th Commencement Ceremony. The Kupferberg Center for the Arts in Flushing, Queens was buzzing with excitement as family and friends gathered to honor the esteemed graduates. 

Graduates from the Schools of Allied Health, Business, Court Reporting, Dental Sciences, and Nursing were present to walk across the stage and receive their hard earned diplomas, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional endeavors. 

New York State Senator, Joseph Addabbo delivered the keynote address, encouraging the graduates to step into their futures filled with hope, confidence, and dedication to their chosen paths. Nursing Cohort 2 Graduate William M., shared a poignant message: “How you do anything is how you do everything,” a sentiment that resonated deeply with his fellow graduates.

Dental Hygiene graduate Jackelin B. was awarded the Anna S. Callahan award, presented by Dr. Callahan. The  Anna S. Callahan award was established in memory of Plaza College’s co-founder, Anna S. Callahan. The recipient of this award is voted by faculty as most likely to represent the mission and values of Plaza College.
