Students from Plaza College’s School of Court Reporting had the unique opportunity to step beyond the virtual classroom and experience the fast-paced world of the legal system firsthand with an exclusive tour of the New York County Criminal Court at 100 Centre Street in Manhattan. From sitting in on real court hearings to gaining insight from professionals in the field, students saw how their stenographic skills would be applied in real-world settings. This immersive experience reinforced the importance of accuracy and speed in court reporting while highlighting the diverse career paths available in the industry.
