Campus features
The campus was built in 2014 utilizing Forest Hill Tower’s unique “building within a building” concept. Located on the first, second, and third floors of the Forest Hills Tower, the College has its own designated street level entrance allowing for easy accessibility and maximum security. It features:
- 14 lecture classrooms equipped with the same technology found in today’s professional environments;
- The Community Dental Clinic, a 20-operatory educational clinic providing oral healthcare to local residents;
- The Center for Healthcare Simulation, bridging the gap from the classroom to the clinical nursing environment;
- Darryl R. Anderson, M.D. Medical Laboratory, providing an enhanced clinical simulation experience for Medical Assisting students;
- Resource and social areas for supplemental study, including the Academic Resources Center, Library, and Commons.
Center for Healthcare Simulation
Introduced in January 2022, this suite features innovative, high-fidelity technology that allows students to practice skills development and high-risk, low-frequency scenarios in an educational, yet realistic patient care setting. An essential bridge between the classroom and clinical environments, the experiences gained in these laboratories enable students to develop and perfect patient care skills crucial to shaping expertly prepared professional nurses. It includes a:
- Skills Lab
- Hospital Simulation Lab
- Labor and Delivery Simulation Lab
- Hospital/Community Simulation Lab
Community Dental Clinic
The Community Dental Clinic is located on the third floor of the campus. With a dedicated patient entrance, the Clinic is staffed by the College’s Dental Hygiene students and faculty members and provides oral healthcare services to the community.
The Clinic has 20 operatories equipped with the latest hygiene and xray technology. Services include dental exams and cleanings, xrays, sealants, fluoride treatments, and more.
