The Anna S. Callahan award is established in memory of Plaza’s co-founder. She and her husband, Charles E. Callahan, Sr. first established the institution in 1916. The individual receiving this award is voted by the faculty as most likely to represent the mission and values of Plaza College by devoting themselves to the betterment of the community. The winner of this award has clearly brought to others, Anna’s spirit of kindness, generosity, and love of learning.
